Please be aware that if you continue using media that is unstable or malfunctioning, that it may doom the whole recovery process. Please book in your media as soon as you become aware of a problem. If, however, you do have a valid backup to restore from, you're safe to continue from there. The company can provide replacement media (e.g. hard drives, memory sticks etc.)
